Everyone needs time out to heal or nurture the mind and body.

Massage are therapies are a great way to relax and unwind. They are also great for treating pain and discomfort. My bespoke approach to healing therapies customises the treatment specifically each time. 

I have been a holistic therapist for 20 years, training in many forms of massage: Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy, Reflexology, Myofascial release, Reiki and Qigong Healing.

 

 I work intuitively with each client “I often find that I may set out with a plan of treatment but then the body will reveal what it really needs and I’ll change the treatment plan to fit the requirements of the person to bring better healing for them”

TYPES OF MASSAGE AND HEALING THERAPIES

Swedish and Myofascial Release Massage

​Benefits: Releases tension, eases pain and muscle soreness throughout the body.

​

This massage is aimed at the deeper tissue structures of the muscle and fascia (connective tissue). Myofascial massage is used on specific areas of tension to help release tight and painful fascia and muscles. This is combined with techniques of Swedish massage to release tension from the deepest muscles of your body.

​Back, Shoulders, Head, Neck, and Face

Benefits: Releases tension and muscle tightness in the neck area, helps relieve headaches.

​This rejuvenating treatment using aromatherapy oils helps to relieve stress and tension in the shoulders and neck with lots of deep tissue work around the shoulders, arms and neck. The scalp and face massage incorporates acupressure to stimulate blood flow and freshness to the skin and hair, leaving you feel like you've had a massage and spa facial all in one! This is a wonderful treatment for those suffering with neck and shoulder tension.

Complete Holistic Massage - Head to toe healing and relaxation.

Benefits: Ultimate full body and mind relaxation, and improves overall well-being

This 90-minute Holistic massage incorporates Swedish massage, aromatherapy, reflexology, myofascial release and Reiki energy healing. It is a  full body massage, including feet, neck, shoulders, head, and face, which brings release and relaxation on all levels: physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual. This massage is specifically tailored to each individual client. For ultimate relaxation and a head-to-toe healing treatment, this is a client favourite!

Reflexology

Benefits: Induces relaxation and relieves ailments in the body.

​

Reflexology is an effective therapy in promoting deep relaxation and wellbeing. It helps reduce stress and can be key in optimising good health and building resilience. It is a touch therapy that is based on the theory that different points on the feet and lower leg correspond with different areas and organs of the body. This type of massage may speed up recovery after an injury or surgery, reduce sleep disorders, and relieve depression and pain.

​Reiki

Benefits: Aids relaxation, assists in natural healing processes and overall well-being.

Reiki is an extremely relaxing non-invasive therapy where the client remains clothed. The therapist places hands over various parts of the body whilst the transference of universal energy takes place. Energy can stagnate in the body where there has been physical injury or possibly emotional pain and in time, these energy blocks can cause illness. Reiki helps the flow of energy and remove blockages, improving the flow of energy around the body, can enable relaxation, reduce pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness.

RENEW, REVIVE, RESTORE WORKSHOPS

I am currently running online yoga and meditation workshops for everyone from any skill set.


The session will begin with some movement, energy medicine, Qigong, tapping and light beginner level yoga stretches to awaken the body.


We will gradually move onto guided meditation and deep breathing exercises to completely relax both the mind and the body. The room will be filled with refreshing aromatherapy oils, relaxation music and low, candle lit lighting.

We will then come round with some fresh juice and healthy snacks, including my highly acclaimed protein balls!

 

To complete the “new you” feeling, this session is certain to leave you feeling ready to tackle the week ahead!

Please bring with you a yoga mat, water and a pillow and blanket for the meditation.
